“Off Road Velociraptor Safari” by Blurst, for me is a difficult game, that I did not enjoy. I find the whole driving game genre boring, so it might be that this game is fun, but you wouldn't know it by me. I like the concept of the player getting the Velociraptors, but I think it would have been more fun on foot and setting up traps. The movement of the car, (which I believe was piloted by a Velociraptor, but a not sure of) was to unyielding to a player of my low skill level. I did manage to run over some glowing balls and wreck the car some in trees and off the mountainous hills. The Velociraptors eluded me well, not that that was hard to do... I run into more trees then I should have in the five minutes that the game takes to be over in then I did getting anything important done. The entire gaming I was wondering 'why am I playing this?'
Next I played 'Minotaur China Shop'. Compared to “Off Road Velociraptor Safari”, I found more entertaining, but just as bad on the controls, which I believe was the point of the game. In 'Minotaur China Shop', the player controls a minotuar, who is very clumsy and seems to have so rage issues. The minotuar has to get the china (plates, bowls, cups... the plates I know for sure the rest I think might have been game décor) and bring it back to the customer, hopefully without bumping, smashing or in general destroying the shop and its content.
Splume was the last game I played, and it was the one I had the most fun with. It had the simplest concept and was easy to pick up. Compared to the over two, Splume is an easy game that you control with one button and a little aim. It has a happy shiny look and feel to a 2D game.
