We hope you and yours are well. We cannot express enough how much we are looking forward to welcoming you and everyone else who loves Provincetown back in our kooky village sometime soon. At this moment, we are sheltered in Florida awaiting the green light to head north to our Happy Place; PTOWN! The Provincetown Town leadership and business community, like most of our friends who visit each year, are following national and state guidance; Governor Baker of Massachusetts has extended the closure of non-essential businesses and organizations through May 4th. Our plan was to head north mid-May and be open by Memorial Day weekend, so we are still on schedule. It is true that some event producers associated with theme weeks like Bear Week, Family Week, and July 4th have opted either to not move ahead or to reschedule previously planned large-group gatherings. As far as the town, our beaches, restaurants, bike trails, sunsets, and everything else that makes Provincetown the special place that it is – they will all be here when you are ready! We are excited to head back as soon as possible and sensible.
