Training sessions were kinda boring when it came to action wise. Nothing special really happened. Though he looked forward to the days where Archie was their team leader. He usually wore the same outfit which fitted his torso perfectly. It always made him wish he had less self control than he did but the most he could do was stare while there was time before the session started. Then it was the battle of trying not to be distracted during the session. Or to not get yelled at it seemed. Mara always complain he rode them too hard compared to everyone else but August honestly didn't care. He got to stare longer before he walked off.
Wrapping his arm around Mara as they stood and waited, he smiled as he lifted her off the ground slightly and laughed as she tried to get out. "Oh calm down" he smiled as he set her down. "You're favorite professor is teaching today" he continued. He laughed as she rolled her eyes and stood closer to him. "You mean yours" she mumbled quietly, more for herself than to him.
August really didn't have a comeback for her as he stood them and let her mooch off his heat. She knew. She knew everything about him and that was just because he had told her. He knew just as much about her as she did him but she never forgot. That was the fun of it at least in August's mind.
Looking up as the door opened, they watched as the professor walked into the arena. The rest of the class started paying attention once they saw him walk towards the center of the over-sized room. "Cheer up. Could be worse" he said softly. "Could be training in the snow."
