What if Alex's goal in dark dawn was to bring back the Anemos? I keep going back to the Anemos in most of my theories, but what if he knew that the vortexes would cause far more damage in bringing the moon back to earth and he wanted to forego that, so he figured one lump sum of people was better than a large amount of people over a long span of time. What if Anemos caused the Psynergy vortexes? Like they sealed psynergy, and with their remaining power, lifted themselves into the sky and became the moon to watch over Weyard. The vortexes were to collect the power so they could return to the ground once more.
