Why is it that whenever women talk about male violence of a specific group of men there’s always detailing and people focusing on another axis of oppression whilst not understanding that it’s ultimately men that people are taking about. This is so deliberately obtuse by saying “white women” as of women talking about homeless men and the harassment faced aren’t women from all walks of life and ethnicities. The point is to illustrate that even the most vulnerable men will still put at women at actual risk of violence and because people pity them and empathize more with men then they ever will with women ( like op), women are reluctant in defending themselves in fear of facing backlash. Also homeless men also harass other homeless women + notice how these women speaking up about homeless men don’t mention homeless women. But yeah plz make it seem like it’s just a random rich white lady punching down on homeless people to fit your narrative. I swear no one has the interests of women at hand and we’re always made to feel sorry for thinking about our safety.
