The Courtier art went through many iterations before the final design was decided on. Resilience is the character I played during testing very early on in the game's development. She was a Courtier, so I chose to use her for the official art for the archetype.

As you can see, she was initially human, before the psiren ancestry had been finalized. As the other archetypes got their art, it became clear psirens needed some representation, and I was happy to change her to fill that need.

The style I used for the final image ended up diverging quite a bit from the previous sketches. As I have a lot of fun with traditional mediums, I decided to incorporate physical watercolor into the final work. I scanned my watercolor washes, and used them to color the digital line work, and I love the result!

Heliosail is a solarpunk tabletop rpg my friend has been working on for the better part of a decade, and I am so proud of them and how far its come!
