Indulge in the rich and sophisticated flavors of pork tenderloin infused with port wine and sweet prunes. This dish is perfect for a special occasion or a memorable family dinner.
Ingredients: 2 pork tenderloins. 1 cup port wine. 1 cup pitted prunes. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper, to taste.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Salt, pepper, and dried thyme should be used to season pork tenderloins. Warm up the olive oil in a big skillet that can go in the oven over medium-high heat. Make sure all sides of the pork tenderloins are browned in a pan. When you add minced garlic to the pan, saut it for a short time until it smells good. Pour in the port wine and place the prunes without the pits around the pork tenderloins. Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated and roast the pork for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it reaches 145F 63C inside. Take the pork out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Then cut it into slices. Port Wine and Prunes go well with Pork Tenderloin. You can serve it over your favorite grains or with roasted vegetables. Enjoy this beautiful and tasty dish!
