                        “ I would never – ”

            Midorima has never been good with emotions – he’s still pressing his way and learning as he goes, but there was not a chance in hell that he could ever leave someone to die. Especially not anyone that he considered a friend. He moves to sit next to Murasakibara on the bottom row of bleachers of the otherwise deserted gym they were using for a bit of practice.

       “ I know that I’m not the most communicative of the five of us, but I do care about you – and naturally, your well being. I’m not sure what’s brought on such feelings, and that’s most likely the problem to begin with. Perhaps had I been a better friend to you instead of some kind of overbearing parental figure, I would know why you’re feeling this way. Perhaps I could have even played a part in ensuring that you’d never feel such a way. As such, I am here now… And I will not leave you even if you ask me to. ”

         He pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose, a look of stubbornness passing his features.
