So many people are making valuable posts on IG, and then following it up with a request to click on their link in their bio… . ❌Or to “swipe up” and get this… . ❌Or download their free “that…” . I know people are doing this, because I’m guilty of it too… 🤦🏽‍♂️ . It wasn’t until this morning, when I looked at my IG feed, and I saw that almost every other post gave value… . But it also referred to some other thing they can get or download from me… . Now this is great for the people who already like, know, and trust me… They’re gonna love it because I’m giving them tons of value... But, the majority of the people who see your posts aren’t necessarily people who like, know, and trust you… Just because they followed doesn’t mean that they trust you enough, to go to your website and download your stuff… I’m trying to look at people following now, as an indicator that they’re interested… It’s the same as someone clicking “want to see more” It means people like what they see, and they’re willing to see more… Trying to promote your stuff, even if it’s free, it’s just going to ruin that curiosity that they have… Just keep providing value, position yourself as somebody they can trust, overtime, consistently…💯 If you do this right, people will be asking if you have anything that we can download, or any offers, or guidance...
