The Twentieth Memo
Together
-We have spent years
climbing those seemingly
impossible mountains
To then finally reach the tops
With our blistered hands
And our blood-flushed faces
It is powerful that we can turn
Away from the view
And towards each other
to encourage a smile
To slowly take over our faces
Through semi-exhausted expressions
We still laugh together
As if we have never once done so
We gaze in amazement
Our fingers gently interlocked
With tears in our eyes
Because now we have
grabbed the proof ourselves
This is the proof of how great
our accomplishments can be
When we act and unite as one
When we fuse and work
TogetherĀ
For the worthiness of times like these
