I read a quote the other day that said all we really wish for is someone to choose to love us over everyone and everything else.  It struck me that while we are trying to earn the love of others, the only thing that can fill our deep void is the love of the One who created us.  How beautiful and unfathomable is it that Jesus chose to love me two thousand years -- chose me over His throne on high, chose me when I was an unloveable sinner who rejected Him.  He chose to love each and everyone of us all the way to the cross. Amazing love, how can it be!  No deeper, purer love has ever been.  Everything that the human heart has ever desired can be found in our Saviour!  Oh how I love Him, because He first loved me!
