But that is not why I am here today, I wanted to share a headcanon - a thought and wanted to see what might be yours.

We knows the Hex first December 31st, 1999 didn't end 'too well' ( I swear, I wasn't slightly traumatized). So I thought... How could it have end for Hanon? My first thought about it, came from the fact, that I almost killed my Kullervo while doing Netracells... I forgot for a sec you need to hit people to get your Overguard... He had delicious 3 hp before I panicked. Anyway, so... What if... Hanon literally overdid it, the hive goes crazy and so does he, the knives are send out, cut and return. Over and over, nestling deeper into his body, everytime he uses them. Until he has *coughs* literally impaled himself. Kinda like a sad last painful act, hoping it would attone for at least some of his doings or at least give someone some 'sick' joy that he died like a fool.

While I wait for you answer... I am gonna sit in a corner and slightly cry about that thought *ugly sobs*

Hello! Thank you very much for continuing to be interested in my biggest project of last year. I apologize for making you wait so long for my reply; I was trying to deal with some life difficulties. I hope you had a wonderful New Year and a happy Christmas. And I am definitely not tired of you — I am just as honored as you are that new stories are being created with my character.

You know, I actually had a similar idea about how Hanon would meet his end in Hex’s first ending. The fact that he “went too far” with his abilities is something very logical for him to do, most likely because of his own stubbornness. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

By the way, my own idea was the following.

Hanon’s weak point is the feeling that he never truly became one of Hex. Even though he shares the same goals and is ready to sacrifice everything to save at least someone, continuing his path of redemption. That is why his ending is filled with the same loneliness he pushes himself into, trying to deal with a collective problem alone. He goes to the center of the technorot outbreak — ironically, to the same place where his own transformation once began within the ranks of Skaldra. His motive remains the same: to draw the threat to himself and buy time for the others. The hordes of technorot begin to interfere with the main mission, and Hanon deliberately provokes them. He does not expect to survive and accepts this in advance. If his first encounter with the infection almost destroyed him, turning him into an unstable biomechanical organism, now he goes all the way consciously. He holds back the waves of technorot with his own body, keeping their aggression focused on himself at the cost of his flesh. Similar to your situation with the netrocells, he deliberately pushes himself to the limit in order to feel life and pain as intensely as possible. This limit almost becomes fatal, but a surge of rage and pain allows him to recover for a brief moment and give Hex the breakthrough they need. He does not merge with the swarm, because his stubbornness and fear of losing the radio signal turn out to be stronger. However, the pressure of the technorot eventually kills him. Before his death, he contacts Hex over the radio, feeling that the end is near. As if it were an ordinary day, he begins his radio broadcast — but with an announcement of its finalle. “Good evening, Höllvania, and Happy New Year! The weather today is calmly warm, and soft snow is falling, settling on bare trees and rooftops. Do not worry about the spread of spores and disease — I assure you, everything will end soon and everything will be alright. I must... with heavy heart inform you that our broadcast is coming to an end, and unfortunately, we will not hear each other again. All good things come to an end, don’t they? Take care of yourselves, and goodbye. Sincerely yours, Hanon Ahonen.”
