@protectxrs // gets that thing we talked about
Everything was fuzzy; vision could make out a figure as her body was laid on top of the unknown surfaceâ the tight grip gently laying her down was most definitely Chris and by the other timbre, Elsa could only assume Argent had brought her someplace she could be treatedâ maybe Deatonâs hospital or Melissaâs house.Â
The pack with Argentâs help had eventually stopped the large band of hunters that threatened their lives, but not without casualties; Elsa being the main one. The bullet wound had gone through cleanly, but had obviously hit something important. The initial adrenaline had worn off, leaving the supernatural to deal with the searing pain and overwhelming feeling of impeding doom.
Elsa didnât have the keen sense of smell like a werewolf or coyote, but she didnât need it to sense the FEAR and ANXIETY in Chrisâ tone as he scooped her up after the ceasefire. The young woman couldnât make much out after that except how he brought her to the safety of his vehicle, speeding off to his destination like a madman. The conversation in the confines of the vehicle prior to the arrival was much the same; bits and fragments she couldnât exactly remember, but was sure it wasnât that important-- mainly to keep her awake, the resulting blood loss leaving the young woman between consciousness and comatose.
NORMALLY, the injury wouldnât be that big of a deal-- supernatural creatures could heal themselves; unfortunately, Elsa hadnât been able to figure out her healing abilities yet. Up until then, her injuries would heal, but not as fast as a were. With her current situation, her healing was a disadvantage.Â
Eyelids had closed for a moment, the inescapable urge to go to sleep becoming harder to ignore. A large hand is felt on the side of her face, the warm palm moving her face towards her fatherâs direction. His voice seemed so far away in the moment, but it was pleading with her to look at him- STAY with him. Lids fluttered back open with the voiceâs urging, lips quivering as the words stuttered out. â C-Chris... I-Iâm...tired...and feel c-cold... â
