Ok....let's do this. ⚡Meet the maker behind the art⚡ I am NOT a selfie person, so let's get this over with. Luckily, my sweet little Emma hopped in the photo with me to make me look better lol. 😼 I was nominated by @smg.illustration to post a #meetthemaker #selfie Since I've never done this in the almost 5 years I've been going public with my artwork, I figured it's about time you all got to know me a little more. 🖤 LAWD I need to dye my hair! Lol I usually like it dark, I dye it either straight black, or a deep plum if I'm feeling a little colourful. Anyways, I'm Amanda. This is me👆🏻 I'm Canadian and I live in Southern Ontario. I love cats, I care for 3 at the moment. They're all family 🖤 Rufus is the daddy (you've seen him in a few of my posts. He's pretty needy and is always bugging me for snacks while I paint). Emma and Tammy are sisters. I also have a few pet snakes 🐍 one is a female Ball Python named Geisha and the other is an albino King Snake named Casper (AKA: Bitey. "I call the big one Bitey"). I've been drawing Simpsons characters since I started watching the show, my love of the Simpsons has been lifelong. In case you can't tell from past posts, my other favorite cartoons are Beavis and Butthead, Rick and Morty, King of the Hill and of course, Bob's Burgers. Music is a big influence as well. My muse for a long time has been Marilyn Manson, he's definitely one of my all time favorite artists. I love all types of music, but mostly old goth rock, heavy metal and Danzig lol (oh! And the Ramones!). My favorite fruit is melon and my favorite drink is Crystal Head vodka. I'm a true crime fanatic (if it didn't require so much school, I would have loved to get into forensic pathology or be a forensic artist) and I LOVE old school horror movies. I'm #propot I love to smoke weed and encourage medicinal use of it. I start every morning with a coffee and some sweet sweet dabs. I'm starting to run out of things to say about me lol. I was hoping to keep this short and sweet, like Linda Belcher, but it seems I'm rambling now, so I'll finish up and let you get back to scrolling.
