The subject in each photo will be dressed in all white and carrying tis book around with them everywhere they go that day, almost like a “burden”. The last two photos will show them reading the book and the throwing it out a window.

Chain of Memories Left Behind

For project three I decided to show the sights of the desert in the Oracle foothills of Tucson. The book titled "Living in The Oracle foothills consists of purposely over edited photos of the desert landscapes and weather. The photos are vibrant in color to exaggerate the conditions of the surroundings. In conclusion, the purpose of my book is to simply be aesthetically pleasing for the viewer.

I didnt like this one so much, because it felt too cliche to me: the whole “nonconforming rebel” has been done way too much before, and I know that if I pushed a little bit more, I could break the cliche and arrive somewhere I liked. But that takes to much time and makes me critical of my work to get anywhere I want.

I have never been hiking with my boyfriend and its something we have always wanted to do together. So for my last idea i would want to go to Sabino Canyon and capture us together hiking 4 the first time with each other. I would want the pictures to be from my point of view so the pictures would not include my face just everything i saw with my eyes. I would want the book to be a story of the beginning of the hike to the middle and ending after the hike. I would also like to capture my bf holding my hand leading me the way and so fourth.

Title: Look a Round This project would attempt to show the beauty and harmony of round shapes. Bright colours and the combination of organic and inorganic shapes to portray a playful but peaceful mood. Each picture attempts to balance organic elements and inorganic elements such as valves and concrete. Each photo will contain a round or circular shape. Some pictures will be off centre or include multiple round shapes so as to better express the playful and colourful nature of the pieces. In order to better show harmony and balance, any bright colour will be combined with a more neutral tone such as brown, grey, or desaturated greens to prevent the colours from overwhelming the shape as the focus.

Each photo will be different representations of Tucson’s past and history and will focus on what is still left here, but that is also beautiful that no one sees anymore. Tucson is incredibly full of color in every corner, the Mexican influence of architecture and art is everywhere and with this comes vibrant colors from all ranges of the color spectrum. I want to capture the history of tucson and the cool things people might not see all the time, along with the focus of the color they give off as well. 

In my third proposal for the book project I want to showcase my love and intense curiosity for and of the sky. With each passing day, the Earth paints yet the most beautiful picture in the sky, whether it be clear or cloudy. But it’s immensity is scary because just beyond what we are able to witness, is an infinitely large, ever growing space of essentially nothingness. Between the sparse evidence and remnants of future and former galaxies, we are essentially alone, isolated from the universe. Its intensity is frightening but also the catalyst for thousands of questions, never to be answered in this lifetime.
