A and B stifling their laughter every few seconds because they keep falling into an awkward silence with nothing else to talk about.

B shyly asking A if it's okay to hold their hand as they walk

The two painfully trying to trudge through the small talk

A and B not knowing whether to hug when they first see each other or just sit down/get in the car, so they just stand there for a minute panicking inside

When they finally meet up, A realizes they may have overdone it with their outfit with just one glance at B's.

The two keep accidentally speaking at the same time and then cutting each other off with awkward "sorrys" and "no, it's okay, you go."

Doing a little happy dance by themselves afterwards because B clearly hinted at there being a "next time"
