IT’S JUST A BLOODY NOSE || ACCEPTING

Yumi should have been paying attention to the person carrying a box instead of wandering off into space, causing her to smash her face directly into them. They didn’t even notice either, as they continued on their merry way while she was crouched down in silent pain, barely whispering curses under her breath.

The pain thankfully didn’t last long but due to it hitting her nose she couldn’t see anything and she desperately tried to find her glasses, which had fallen in the process. Now her nose was starting to bleed. Great, just great.

She could barely recognize Duran without her glasses and tears in her eyes, she wasn’t crying though. Strangely enough, she looked perfectly fine. Maybe mildly annoyed, but fine.

There are moments where it dawns on him that he’s a stranger to this place. He misses Salvador, he misses his family, and while he loves Miami, it hurts that he can’t find a way back home.

Some moments, he just can’t take it.

He’s shaking, wiping a tear from his face, trying to act like nothing was wrong once he noticed Mia.

“I-I’m fine…just…just a little homesick…”

   Mia’s eyes go softer. She knows that pain. She has felt it herself before, even if home wasn’t the happiest place for her. Mia has tried to find a new home but none have been able to replace what was. Even the Xiaolin Temple failed her. Not that it matter now, that home is also gone.

Cas grins at the new patron who enters the diner. It is clear that they are not one hundred percent human. Just the type of patron Elise encourages since she’d returned from the fairy realm, or as Elise called it, the Aos Sidhe.

The feat and novelty of 18th century technology. The shell of a body had persisted for so long that it seemed to have a life of it’s own.

After a few patient moments of winding, there seemed to be a spirit that awakened from within. Her eyes fluttered opened and the long limbs untucked and furled outward, she rose to all nearly 7 feet of her frame. She went into a basic routine, starting position, feet pointed out, knees bending, checking her joints. After her mechanical initiation, she lowered her arms as she looked about.

“River” was wandering around ruins to kind old scraps or other useful materials to bring back to her “boss” Gerald Conner, at his shop. She ended up getting lost after getting sidetracked by a creature she never saw before. She was studying it and trying to find on the internet what that creature could be, but she was unable to connect, it seemed like the there wasn't any network around here. Which is pretty obvious, but she didn’t know that.

She wondered around to try to find someone who could help her when she saw, in the distance, something, or rather, someone very metallic. She thought it was another robot, at first, but after looking at the other from a shorter distance, it was clear that it wasn’t the case.
