Salam my dearest friends,

During the fasting month of "Ramadan", Muslims worldwide are called to fast from sunrise to sunset and, thus, to refrain from food, drinks and other pleasures. Ramadan is considered by Muslims a holy month of good deeds and purification of the body and soul.

In Afghanistan, in Kabul in particular, many people (especially street kids) find themselves in a hopeless position. They have, to our regret, neither the possibilities to take their sahūr (meal before fasting) nor the meal to break their fast.

We want to help our brothers and sisters so that they can provide themselves with enough food; at least during the period of Ramadan, so they are able to commence and finish their fasting decently.

The donations will be forwarded directly to Kabul by myself, Felice Susan. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me. Every donation even a small one is of infinite value and a blessing - for both the donor and the recipient.

Because only the sharing of his own food, can saturate a self!

So let us support each other, and allow our sisters and brothers with limited opportunities a blessed Ramadan!
