Good morning my coffee and music lovers. I woke up this morning debating to post a coffee message, but found a video that I haven’t shared with anyone, but felt this was an appropriate time to share: November 9, 2017 my daughter and I attended a ASU Project Humanities event. Anti-racism educator Jane Elliott spoke on social consciousness and individual accountability. I didn’t get a chance to share this video three years ago, because I didn’t want my social media platform page to be about racism. Then I realize that the message she spoke about at the seminar, is still happening and will continue to happen now unless we figure out solutions. The protesting and rioting is happening for a reason. Some things you have to bring awareness to get people to understand that it affect us all. Jane Elliott brought up some points that still is an issue that’s going on today. First and foremost know your history... #janeelliott #nojusticenopeace #educator #projecthumanities #asuevent2017 #georgefloyd #sayhisname #socialconsciousness #beheldaccountable #coffeetalk https://www.instagram.com/p/CA3Di4_glxo/?igshid=5o9comp9f5hl
