Under specific circumstances we have lost a writer who is very dear to us and the continuation of this project. Seeing as how the writer was responsible for four characters - the alpha's - we need someone who can write for us.

I'm not sure how to properly go about this. We need you asap. Writing materials and good representation of your take on these characters. 

Your duties as writing for these characters are fairly simple.

You're required to stay in character ( obviously ) but match to the altered perception to fit this AU. 

You must also be able to give input on the Voice Actor to make sure they're solid with the interpretation of the script. 

If you have any further questions, that would be lovely.

We put up an extension for several people who had computer trouble, and ultimately decided to give everyone else the same amount of time as well.

A reminder for the emails!

Send them to  [email protected]

Put your name (as well as your partners) in the subject

Put your character names in the subject

Attach your files and include any external links

Give us a simple body saying who you are JUST in case

So for an example, here is MY email with the important info marked.

Please try to do this! 

We have already gotten several unclear emails with

just one of the VA's first and last names

A file called "callback auditions"

No indication of the log/characters/voice actor pseudonyms

This makes it EXTREMELY hard to sort the audio files and makes it entirely possible that you could be disqualified for lack of credit leading into a no-show audition.

Label your tracks and emails before you send them.

Include your tumblr names/nicknames and the characters you are reading for.

Try to be as clear and concise as possible. This IS an audition, after all!

You've all gotten in contact with your partner and have been given extensions to your mixing and recording time, so we expect 41 emails (with attached tracks) all sent to [email protected] by 11:59:59 PST on Sunday night (that is May 6th, 2012)!

Auditions will not be accepted after then!

If you happen to NOT be finished or are adding your own final special touches, remember that situation-appropriate sound effects are very encouraged. It shows your skills as a producer as well as an actor, and is MUCH more interesting than just a back and forth.

If you're SUPER stuck on mixing still, or are confused or lost (I'm sorry if you are), or simply have never done something like audio mixing before, you can refer to this post for mixing software, OR simply jump into using Audacity, which is some easy-to-use software. If you do find yourself in this case, you have FOUR WHOLE DAYS to learn and work, which is definitely better than having only ONE.
