Informa, the parent company of Project and MAGIC, has adjusted its Las Vegas show dates. The show will now begin on Wednesday, September 30th instead of Tuesday, September 29th, and will run through Friday, October 2nd.

According to the trade show organizers, the move was to avoid any overlap with the High Holy Day of Yom Kippur.

This is the second Vegas date change for Informa, which had to postpone its original August dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The MAGIC Marketplace will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, featuring women’s and men’s apparel, footwear, and accessories in a new layout that is conducive to the current environment. The company affirms that it will be adhering to all guidelines set forth by the CDC and GBAC.

As for Vegas’ other menswear trade show, Liberty Fairs, the jury is still out if, or when, it will take place. According to a statement on Liberty’s website, it acknowledges the global uncertainty and is closely monitoring COVID-19 developments. “We are working with our partners and staff to determine the best approach to live events and social gatherings according to the rules of WHO and the CDC,” the company stated. “We are excited to bring you more updates in the next few weeks.”
