World Eaters: Project Resurrection, Part 1

My World Eaters army has had the same 20ish models painted for the last 10 or so years, but what with the new Chaos Marines and assault armies finally being reasonably viable, I’ve decided to upgrade my Berzerkers to Big Berzerkers and finally get them painted. The plan is to do them in batches of 7 - 5 Berzerkers, a Berzerker Champion, and a character. The champions and characters will come with a bit of fluff.

Bloodstained Aistis, Herald of the Balehorde: Drew the short straw of carrying the Banner of Blood for the Balehorde, but doesn’t let that stop him ripping and tearing his fair share of the enemy.

Castor Janus, the Axe with Two Smiles: Carries two double-headed axes, which he swings while grinning like a lunatic (which the enemy can see thanks to his mutated toothy helm). Off the battlefield, he’s a miserable bastard who hates what his legion has become about as much as he hates the Imperium. Revenge, he will tell you, is an axe with two smiles.
