Hey guys if you haven’t heard of her, Jenna Moreci is an awesome author person who has tons of great advice. If you’re writers blocked but want to learn some great things, she’s the one to go to.Â
YOUNG NEW AUTHORS: If you want to make sure that you’re not falling into the pitfalls of bad tropes (there are good tropes ^.^) or generally want to get a feel for what frustrates readers, I actually reccomend her 10 Ten Worst videos. Although they are HER opinion and NOT FACT, she brings up several good points and explains why some of these things are bad and/or frustrates readers. Plus, they’re fun!Â
She’s got two books out, which I’ve linked below. I haven’t read them, but heard they got decent reviews. Those who like ships, romance, and tragic backstories will love these.Â
The Savior's Champion
Eve: The Awakening
What makes me really want to talk about Jenna more than anything is that she’s working with  PROJECT K.E.E.P (Kid Emergency Essential Pack) which helps kids in Marin County get supplies to children in foster care. I cannot stress enough how much kids need stuff in foster care. She’s hosting it through the month of august, and there are prizes for reaching certain goals!Â
Honestly, she’s wholesome and funny, and the simple fact she’s helping foster kids warms my cold dead writer heart.Â
