Let's bring more of my ogs into Project GATE! I'm flipping a few things around in the og story. In Cas' case, he is now a half dev/half salz (read, another abomination in the eyes of the dev). Shaye is still his father, but was never present in Cas' life because he was arrested by the Emperor of Light (Night's father) for conspiracy to help the former Empress escape. That's right, Cas is roughly 80 years old in this timeline, but he ages incredibly slowly due to being salz. He was a teenager for about 50 or so years and just now matured into adulthood.
Shaye eventually does get out of prison but he is not free to go back to where Cas is because he is forced to train Koray at the Penumbral temple on Sintra. He never really gets to know Cas and dies on his return to the homeworlds. Cas resents Koray for this and has made it his mission to destroy him. How does Enver play into this? Well, you're just gonna have to stay tuned to find out.
Finders, Keepers
Early Saros and Kai. When Saros first arrives on Paradiso he is swept up in the conflict between the Paradisian crime orgs, which includes the Rancid and his crew and the corrupt Spacecraft Union. Saros quickly forms an alliance with Theron and his pirate crew the Jungle, promising to usurp the Spacecraft Union and giving him passage through the frontier. Saros does this and takes over the unions headquarters which would later become the Palace. Theron is the one who picks up Kai and brings him to Saros per their agreement.
At first, Saros' crew is against taking Kai in, particularly because they don't want to attract the Devonic Empire, but Saros convinces them to let him stay. Kai quickly becomes a major attraction for frontiersman and helps Saros build his clientele because most dev and other aliens haven't seen a human before. They are decidedly not good for each other, which is why Saros eventually puts Kai with Tommy.

Admiral Koray, his general Samsara, and their human companions codenamed Morse, Signal, and Dot.
On their designs, I decided to up the saturation on Koray's skin tone and also make his white stripes blue on the skin and pink in the hair to better match the devonic aesthetic. For Samsara, I wanted her to appear more human like. I gave her the jump suit from her original design. I might turn her sleeves into compression gloves though.
For Morse, Signal and Dot are now his nephews. They're not members of any particular military, rather, they work as mercenaries so their dynamics with the dev is different than other human companions. Morse has a brother who joined Project GATE during Phase II who went MIA. Signal and Dot are the sons of that brother.
Couldn't decide what couple I wanted to do for Valentine's Day so we're doing bottom on bottom. Not pictured is Saros and Dev short circuiting.
