I apologize for the delay in this chapter. I started a new medication because my blood pressure is never consistent and tends to run high when I step into a doctor's office, despite being young and in pretty good health otherwise. It is likely anxiety based because I have never been a fan of going to the doctor. The medication is causing drowsiness as my body adjusts to it. I have also been having a lot of doctors' appointments lately dealing with family planning and making sure my body is in the best shape it can be in.
However, I just started a three week break from work, so I should be able to write more!

Not a definite, but I want to see if there is any interest in some one-shot prequels/missing scenes in the Progression universe.
Options:
1. Vegas/Pete one-shot
Summary: When Pete gets the call from social services about a month old baby who is supposedly his half-sister, he also receives an offer to take custody. Vegas remains outwardly open and supportive. But he also feels like he had in college, back when he had been partly responsible for an unplanned pregnancy. And while Pete isn't pregnant, this is still something that can throw off everything they have built. Despite all of this, he can't tell Pete that he doesn't actually want a child.
Or that's what he thinks until he holds her.
2. Namphueng/Milan, plus Namphueng/Pat (sort of) and Milan/Gun one-shot
Milan has loved Namphueng for as long as she can remember. Even now that Namphueng has told her she is pregnant and is (yet again) pushing her away for her safety, Milan still loves her.
But she is also going to get Gun to fuck her without a condom - just to make a point.
3. Pol/Hansa, Arm/Khun one-shot (although I weirdly can see this one becoming novel length 🙄)
When Hansa meets Arm for dinner and gets him to spill about the rather dramatic life events he has gone through the last week, she had not been expecting the conversation to be about Arm building explosive toy cars as well as getting into a secretive and passionate relationship with his boss. And while those conversation topics are fascinating, Hansa is only left with a persistent and surprisingly strong fear and concern when Arm mentions that Pol is in the hospital recovering from being shot. She has had a soft spot for him ever since he was a soothing and non-judgmental presence when she was battered, broken, and at her lowest while she was recovering from injuries of her own.
He deserves to have that too.
Or...
A week after the attack on the compound, Hansa visits Pol in the infirmary and makes it a habit. Things grow from there as they enter a secretive romance that makes Arm's and Tankhun's relationship look obvious in comparison.
4. Arm/Khun one-shot
Right after the attack, Tankhun and Arm watch the sunrise together. It causes a fluttering in Arm's chest he can't describe. It's only the following night that the quickly developing feelings become clear.
Which one would you prefer to see as a side story added to the Progression Universe?
For future reference in Progression and any potential side epilogue stories, I'm letting the readers vote and will go with the majority rule if it ever comes down to it lol.
What should Pol/Hansa's baby be? I am completely neutral. 🤷♀️ With Vegas/Pete's baby being a girl and Arm/Khun possibly adopting a girl (plus planning on having all girls regardless), maybe I should switch things up and give them a boy. Or maybe it will be good for them to be girl besties close in age like Vegas said he wanted last chapter lol. The choice is yours.
