also if anyone has ever had an iron transfusion via injection, i would love to hear from you, (thank you to the lovely person who messaged me) is new to me and i'm an anxious person so this process is still overwhelming to me but I AM MOVING THROUGH IT
iron injection to get my levels up before surgery -> surgeon intake appointment late april -> maybe more injections depending on how i respond (??? no idea there) -> hematologist appointment late may -> surgery date (before or after hema?? no idea). basically two medical tracks open rn and i don't know where they intersect but. we're moving. and that's important.
and again, just really want to clearly state so far this has cost me no money. the iron transfusion IV is covered by the provincial healthcare. i am moving slowly, yes, but it is socialized healthcare, and it is what must be done, so we do it.
