The one major benefit to Minato's predicament is that he tends to get quite a bit of information. Its a simple byproduct of what he is able to do, no, simply what he has to do to get the lay of the land in each place he visits.
So, of course, its little wonder that he came to know of the great Togami Corporation. A company like that doesn't make its affluent mark upon the world without rustling a few feathers. If anything, it reminds him quite a bit of the Kirijo Group that he is more familiar with. Which was not the most generous or friendly comparison he could make. He'd known first hand the sort of trouble that such an organization could end up being the cause of.
So, the realization of being on a new device and learning that it belonged to the prodigy of the family? A cause for immediate worry and reservation. He wouldn't make himself known right away.
