Submitting and Discussing Programming
Submissions for programming for our 2020 virtual con are now open! We’re looking for ideas of what YOU want to talk about. Whether that’s your new shiny fandom of the moment, a favorite trope or AU you want to delve deeper into, or tips on creating different types of fanworks, we’ll be happy to facilitate them all! And because our 2020 virtual con is free, we’re especially looking forward to hearing new voices from different corners of fandom that may have not had a chance to check out one of our past IRL cons. At this stage, nothing is final, so feel free to go for it! Programming submissions will be open until September 4. Shortly thereafter we’ll have a period where attendees get to vote on what they want to see. Click here
If you’re having trouble deciding what to submit or would like feedback from your fellow attendees, we’ve got space on our Discord as well as this post on our Dreamwidth just for you! Now is a great time to throw out all of your ideas and see what sticks! In the past we’ve tied together similar panel topics for a more focused conversation, suggested workshops for TTRPG newbies, tested the waters to gauge general interest, and even found copanelists to assist discussion leaders. Even if you’re not sure if you can attend CONfab 2020, we gladly welcome your thoughts to help make our convention the best it can be. The fandom sky's the limit! As a reminder, submissions for programming continue until September 4. Click here for Dreamwidth. Click here for Discord.
