Dec 7 - HEADS UP! TUNE UP!
What: Tune Up is hands-on design thinking applied to a real world wicked problem.
In increasingly complex times, we are looking for ways to do creative problem solving, prioritize our next move and to have a clearer picture of how to make an impact. It is key to work with empathy and to have a bias towards action, both of which are very present in design thinking. This workshop is led by facilitators who are living and breathing design thinking and community engagement everyday. Together, we will explore the tools of storytelling, the power of asking questions and prototyping to test out ideas and assumptions.
For individuals, it is an opportunity to put design thinking into practice on a real world wicked problem. The organization provides the research, context and feedback for the design strategy. We ask that individuals come with some previous knowledge of design thinking and a motivation to explore design thinking at a very hands-on level. We expect individuals to act as designers who are ready to serve the organization with new perspectives and deliver an action-oriented plan.
