Karl Heine visits the SVA Summer illustration Residency studio for a much needed session on the missing link between talent and industry. My co-panelist at a Graphic Artists Guild forum event a couple of years ago, Karl instantly caught my attention for his way with words, people, technology, materials and industry match making expertise. Not to mention his patience (I don’t know how he does it) and passion for teaching, making him a highly effective portfolio reviewer with a bottomless toolbox of ideas and connections. Everything he looks at through his vintage frame glasses, is a world of opportunities.
