Professor Apple's Pokemon Snap: The Last Entry
Log date: 2029, Global evacuation day.
I dont know why i'm writing this, there's no one who's left to receive. At long last, the Pokemon Conservation Project has completed, we've managed to track down a manageable amount of pokemon to store in the Global PC. Figgy, Fizzit, and my little Apple have all been stored safely, and my work tracking down the more elusive species has concluded. The shuttle is waiting at Lumiose, and my time studying this wonderful world has come to an end. Its sad, looking back on all those adventures I had, all the pictures. I decided to leave them behind, a promise to come back someday, when the world calms and we return to find our pokemon. I decided to spend my last night out in one of my favorite expedition sites. Much of Mount Moon has been destroyed by volcanic activity, but my survey found a lovely little spot of nature clinging on amidst all the turmoil. I think i'll leave my gear behind when I leave in the morning. Maybe someone will find it someday. Couldn't help but think of Apple, she never really could transform properly into anything but me, always trying to take pictures when I took her out on the field. Left another camera for her. Or at least the closest thing I could get to her. I didn't want to sleep feeling so alone.
One day, I know the project will succeed. We'll return, there will be so much work to do. I'll try to update my logs while i'm in and out of stasis out there.
It was really the adventure of a lifetime I had. Stay safe, my friends. I'll come back and find you.
Professor Apple out.
