Roger and his team do a lot of geometric designs in vibrant colors. They mix some of their traditional techniques with more modern shapes and palettes. We love it!

This is the back of Daniel and Claudia's workshop. The slabs of wood against the wall are drying. It's important that the wood is dry when it's worked on, otherwise the pieces could crack afterwards.

This is the street José Ramón and his family live on, a calm road surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers.

Future bench legs being made by Daniel. He patiently chips away at each piece of coffee wood until its sides are the right width.

It takes around two hours to set up the loom to produce a new design. Every fiber has to be threaded twice, making sure they don't cross each other or get tangled.

At Puente we work directly with the artisans, developing designs that are modern but still respectful and celebratory of their craft and traditions.
