Arranging to visit Star City hadn’t been an easy task, not among everything else, but Crystal fought for it, because every bit of news arriving from here made her worry more and more for Luna. It seemed more of a disaster than the rest of the world, by far, and eventually Medusa had relented and agreed it was due time for Crystal to pay a visit. Immediately upon leaving the introductory meetings she had, she made her way over to try and see Luna.
Of course, it was never as simple as just seeing her daughter. Crystal knew that trying to catch Luna as she arrived home from work also presented the chance of running into her ex-husband, a prospect that never failed to make her anxious. But she’d just gotten to the city, and had a free moment, and the time she’d cleared to actually spend time with Luna was a whole day and a half away, so she took the chance, and knocked on the door.
It opened quickly, not to Luna behind it, but Pietro instead. Faaaantastic. Crystal paused on the brink of a bright greeting, her expression mellowing out to something more neutral, and she lowered her hand to her side. Then it went behind her back, twining with her other hand as she simply looked at him for a stuttering moment, taking a slow breath. “Oh. Hello... I- thought Luna would be here around now?”
