the  air  against  the  fresh  cut  on  his  forehead  STUNG.  already  he  could  feel  the  blood  slowly  trickling  down  toward  his  brow  and  he  swiped  it  away.  heâd  had  worse  in  his  storied  career  no  doubt  but  the  rational  part  of  his  brain  knew  it  needed  to  be  treated.  still  that  didnât  stop  finn  from  pushing  away  every  trainer  that  tried  to  come  near  him  backstage.  he  was  still  riding  too  angry  after  his  loss  to  keep  himself  from  SNAPPING  at  anyone  that  got  too  close.  until  finally,  they  gave  in.  the  disused  bandage  and  antiseptic  sat  next  to  him  on  a  chair.  heâd  do  it  himself,  much  like  he  did  most  things  lately. until  suddenly  he  wasnât  so  alone.  the  person  in  front  of  him  cast  a  shadow  across  his  seated  figure  and  he  looked  up  to  find  natalya.  with  her  hands  set  firm  on  her  hips  and  her  lips  pursed  it  was  easy  to  see  the  annoyance  written  across  her  face.  âat  least  let  me  clean  the  wound!â finn  rolled  his  eyes  at  her  outburst,  sucking  at  his  teeth  a  moment  like  a  petulant  child,  before  he  held  the  antiseptic  out  to  her.  "iâm  doinâ  just  fine  on  my  own,  ya  know?  i  donât  need  a  NANNY.â
Pride was showing its ugly head at the WRONG time. Just because Finn lost his match    fair and square gave him no right to push away anyone, specially the medic team who     always made sure the talent were in tip-top shape. Natalya saw him stubbornly and   FOOLISHLY refuse treatment from personnel but unlike them, she would NOT take no    for an answer. âOh, I bet youâre doing JUST fine with blood dripping down your face.   It only takes a couple seconds to put some dressing on it yet here you are, acting like  a child who throws a temper tantrum whenever they donât want to do something. So if  I have to be the ânannyâ for you to get it through your thick skull then so be it!â Hands    never left her hips, she boiled her eyes into the Irishman, showing that she wasnât   backing down or budging an inch. âForget it. I give up. Walk around here while you    start to lose consciousness and see how far you go. See if I care.â She grabbed  the bandages and antiseptic then walked off, a hmph noise made through her close     mouth. It was his injury, not hers. Oh, the MISFORTUNE of being charitable.Â
