You know what would feel great? Being put on Procrustes’ bed. It’s supposed to be 6ft, right? Well, I’m 5’11”, so I feel like I’d get a good back crack out of it. Maybe fix my scoliosis. And the satisfaction of walking away from The Stretcher unharmed would keep me fed for a year.

Watching the Debunking Transphobia video (high rec!) and he says, "those that fit and those we make fit" and "Procrustes" immediately popped in my brain. And I love how knowledge lurks unused until some stray phrase brings it to the surface.

i need the gods to start using phrases like “my sister,” “my brother,” “my uncle,” “my cousin,” i can’t remember them all so i’ll even through out a “my grandpa,” cause for all i can remember from this messed up family wreath thing, one of the olympians is probably zeus’ grandchild😭 like shit, throw in a “my mother aunt,” “my father uncle.” i need to know your relation to the demigods babes, and it does not help when everyone is all “your mom,” “your dad.” i need it specified that you grown ass gods are cool with killing your child cousin, nephew/niece, grandchild, brother. looking right at you ares, hephaestus, procrustes, hades, and zeus😒
