finals week starts today, and I can’t understand how the semester got over so quickly???? accounting is so much work. sigh. I’ve been fairly productive today, considering the fact that I also went over a little content for my marketing class. anyhow, a long week awaits. not sure if I’ll be posting consistently, but a girl can dream.

took two class tests today, and one [I studied marginally less for] went so much better than the other [financial math]. sigh, I’m upset because I love, love math so much, it’s just, I hate that we have to type everything out in excel; wastes more time than it saves. I miss taking exams on paper :(((

I wanted to do a semester’s worth of “x days of productivity”, but boy, has this semester been a rollercoaster. with finals week looming less than two weeks away, I’ve decided to engage myself in the task of completing 21 days of productivity📚! It’s not a semester’s worth of productivity, but at this point ya girl takes whatever productivity she can get.
today was about reading over half a module of financial maths and attempting one problem set. [insert: it ain’t much but it’s honest work]. here’s hoping I can pick the pace up in the coming days.🧠🤍
day 1 of 21 days of productivity
late-ish post for day 2, but here we are lol. yesterday was super duper hectic and I’m so glad I pulled thru. made it on time for my 8AM, finished a bunch of government work, got back in time for my 2PM and was in class for 4 hours straight thereafter. all in all a super productive day, although I wish I had factored in food (survived on 2 coffees, 2 bananas, and 1 cream bun lolol). how’s the last couple #procrastinatingproductivity days going for y’all?
spent the better part of today camping out in what is now my favourite study space on campus (?!)
highlights: survived on 1 coffee, got a couple minutes late to my tutorial but it was a-okay, managed to finish off readings for a couple of classes, started thinking about winter internships (if only I get one, sigh). in other news, I finally figured out the local number conundrum, so that’s that.
I went to muji and kikki.k the other day, and did a major haul. if you guys want to see the unnecessary amount of stationery I now hoard, give this post some love (give it love anyway? haha)

to be fair, day 4 was a Sunday? so I was productive in the sense that I allowed myself some r&r and watched the movie julie & julia while gorging on cheese fries (self care, anyone?). I find that I cannot work well in the week if I don’t give myself some time off - this might be an unpopular opinion to have for a studyblr, but recharging is super important.
take time off. breathe, drink water (pause the coffee). go out and watch the purple skies or stay in and watch netflix. do what makes you happy, because if you don't take care of yourself, who will?
a week after 100 days of productivity, I feel like I’ve not done a lot (as usual), and that there’s so much I have in my never-ending to-do list. without sounding preachy, I’d like to say that it’s okay. being productive doesn’t mean doing 10 things on one day and exhausting yourself - to me, being productive is a processes - I’d rather do 3 things today and 2 things tomorrow instead of crowding a single day. (plus, that helps you feel a little productive every day haha)
I’ve recently started using the Eisenhower matrix, which I believe makes me more productive than a simple to-do list. let me know if you'd like if I shared more tips, etc.

like I said, we’re going to do 100 days of productivity starting today. studying for an environmental economics class and going thru the material before class tomorrow. got a hot cup of coffee to compliment my study-session. don’t worry, the highlighter is for my notes haha. I’ve also started using notion after it came in heavily recommended from the lovely @eintsein - I love the interface!
