“fine!” drew huffed as he shut the bathroom door behind them, giving into the incessant prodding he’d endured from callie all night. “you wanna know what i really think about you?” his hands dropped down on the edge of the sink, his knuckles turning white from the grip as his voice got louder. “i think you’re too loud, and obnoxious, and messy, and always getting in my way and... and...” his anger began to decrease just as quickly as it had bubbled up when he spun around and looked back at callie, the way it always did. even if his rage never usually got higher than an eye roll level when he was sober. “the best person i know. you’re crazy gorgeous, and you know it, but... you’re so cool, and smart, and awesome, and way out of my league, and that kills me, because i... i want you so fucking bad, cal.” his hands slipped into his hair, messing it up even more than it had already gotten from his annual night of letting loose. “that’s what i think about you. alright?” @problmatics​

“Damn, can you ever ask nicely?” He teased, although he knew he would be happy to comply. “Though I’d like to see that, actually,” He smiled smugly, trying to take a note from Sebastian’s book for once. “I gotta get ready for work, we can definitely continue later.” 

“is this a fashion emergency, or a i need a tough female that can totally rock a leather full body suit, and also has fangs and is immortal, emergency?” sugar asks, already on her feet as she flies through the mansion she’s currently calling home and preparing to leave, whether for battle or a girl’s night out, she was always prepared. 

Maddy could already tell that the night was going to be wild. Music bumping from speakers all throughout the house, pool lights setting another mood outside, she should have known better than to throw a party at Samantha and Sebastian’s. Sure they were her employers but they were in Paris for the week. It was as if they just told her to have a party, they would never even know. Holding court she laughed at a meaningless joke before seeing Travis across the room. The open floor plan of the house let her see the front door, Ignoring the rest of the group she walked over, the long flowing kimono she was “borrowing” only making her walk even more dramatic. “And they say I like to be fashionably late.” She had to tease him, not giving him a chance to even take in where she worked she pressed her lips against his. Placing her hand at his cheek she was gentle in how she kissed him, her body gravitating towards his. She could feel his clothing against every bit of bare skin that the hardly there bikini didn’t cover. Painfully pulling away she smiled. “Hi,” her eyes opening slowly. Biting her lip she surveyed his face seeing if she could spot any differences from earlier in the day. “I missed you.” 

dally was a go-with-the-flow type of person, so when the landlord had screwed up and rented her new apartment out to two people, one being a complete stranger, she’d pretty much just shrugged and went about her business. sure, it was a little strange to have a brand-new roommate when she’d been under the impression she was getting a space of her own, but she didn’t mind. besides, they’d worked it out with the landlord and paying only half of the rent was certainly not a bad thing. but it had been about two weeks now, and her roommate was still acting weird around her. almost like they didn’t like her? dally kept trying to be friendly: bringing them cups of herbal tea and buying extra of the snacks they seemed to like. she’d even left a bouquet of wildflowers on their bed that morning, but maybe they hadn’t appreciated her going into their room, because they didn’t seem too happy about it. “what’s wrong?” dally asked, frowning in confusion. “i thought you would like them. are you allergic?” 

“alright, drama queen.” ander chuckled, his lips continuing their path down polo’s neck, before the words finally sunk in. his head was always a bit fuzzy in the afterglow, with tonight being no exception, but had polo just...? “you love me?” sure, the boys had loved each other since they were young, but he had a feeling this was different. things had been on a blurry line between friendship and... something else for the two of them ever since they’d started sleeping together a few months back, and now... well, apparently polo loved him. like, loved him, loved him. so that was certainly... new. 

should he be mad? probably, right? after all, polo had broken the no strings attached part of their promise, when they’d first agreed to start fooling around. but honestly? it just felt... kind of nice. no, more than kind of. it felt amazing. not just because of the loneliness he’d felt for so long, that had started to disappear around the same time his thing with polo had begun, but because maybe there was a chance polo wasn’t the only one feeling that way. even if he wasn’t quite so sure he was ready to say those words just yet. “i’m ready for round two.” 

though it probably not the kind of heartfelt confession polo was looking for from him, based on the smile he received, paired with the hand on his thigh pulling him back in, it seemed like the other boy was more than fine with that answer, at least for now. and, well, depending on how this second round went... maybe the response polo was looking for would come sooner than planned.
