I'm so sick of seeing posts about Gina. Her sole purpose was to die so they could further Bellamy's story. That happens ALL the time! The loss of a loved one to further the others story...or did everyone forget about Finn, Maya, Wells? Seriously Gina was in 2 episodes. I mean I thought it was sad but it didn't bother me THAT much. ^^^^^All of this. Like. None of this is making me love Bellamy any less. The problem I have is with Jason. There was no need to create a new girl character for this. For a guy who likes to talk about how “progressive” his show is, he’s got like zero follow through. 1. Creates a lesbian character. For representation and such, but then proceeded to present her with nearly every negative lesbian stereotype. Before 3x04 the only thing this character had going for her was the actress behind her. That’s it. Like. He made her detestable to most viewers. Why? Why Jason? I wanted to like her. Why you do this? Which btw also guys. Making her like this is what caused the worst shipping war I have ever seen. Like. He loves to cause trouble in fandom. He didn’t need to have Lex@ leave Clarke at the mountain. But he did. He didn’t have to have her try to kill Octavia. But he did.He didn’t have to make her have Clarke bow to her as some sort of odd power trip. But apparently Jason’s got a hard on for that kinda thing. So. 2. Kills off like. Every. Character. Of. Color. To. Bring. In. A. New. White. One. That’s. Exactly. The. Same. Anya–> Lex@ Wells–> instead we got further Finn, and Jasper. -_- Cool Jason.Also! Where the hell is Raven? Like what the hell. Your white guest star is getting more screen time than your series regular. What the fuck.
Jason loves to talk the talk. “I’m so progressive, I love the LGBT community. I’m not racist,” but he never actually walks the walk. It’s all smokes and mirrors. So that he gets to tell everyone how “progressive” his show is, without ever actually changing anything.
