Knowing what smoke bolts do to Stefano, for my next playthrough of the game, all I’m going to do during his fight is shoot smoke bolts at him until he eventually succumbs to smoke inhalation.

wondering if i should start posting my poetry and writing here or make a separate dedicated blog to make myself write more often
"Koko, hypothetically speaking... if a Trainer were to capture you- would that bypass your limitations to leaving Alola? Surely, there must be a way to work around this."
“That might work, but remember that you trying to solve a divine and magical problem using technology, so that might not work. Really the only sure-fire bypass that I know of, is if the rest of the world is in massive danger.”
On a different note, I've been inspired, and I think I'm going to try doing a big art project thing.
Or... Relatively more difficult? What qualifies as difficult?? Well, I think animatics count.
Oh help.

aka: my yearly attempt to try and be social
Just frustrated ....
I might just be preaching to the choir so to speak but does anyone else have parent(s) who just don't get them or you just feel like you aren't being listened too? I usually don't do this but I have no other way to vent at the moment so I'm sorry.
But seriously I have a zoology degree (I have 3 but zoology is my highest degree) and they take issue with it. "Why didn't you get a Biology degree?" Technically I have all the credits of a Biology degree but I declared Zoology just in case I failed a required class for a second time (I didn't fail but you have to declair just a few weeks into the semester and you can't possibly have a safe prediction and when you get close to finals you can't change). Most places don't care what your degree is in they just look if you have a degree that is a subset of a general discipline or if your transcript includes a few key courses.
I'm a live-in care-taker to an elderly family member. At least 1 person has to remain at home at all times for general care but 2 typically have to be present due to safety reasons so I have a part time job that the hours are fairly flexible and I'm around at key times in that family members routine 90% of the time. However, my job relies heavily on other people who are not obligated to show up. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't. Whether they ask or I vent, they periodically know if I "get stood up". "It's not worth your time." "You should quit" "tell them you can't do it" "I wish you hadn't taken the job" I get a little extra money and more importantly I have the opportunity to help others and get out of my house (which I desperately need).
I like my job but the inconsistency is nerve wracking and I constantly meet new people and show them how to do something... I have social anxiety so if I fumble my anxiety spikes. So if I talk about getting another job, even if it's just a "bridge job" waiting for a more favorable place to have openings or just to increase my skills and make my resume look better, it always gets a negative reaction. "Why would you want to work at *retail store*" "you don't need a job" "you'd have gotten 3 degrees just to work at *grocery chain*". But if it's a job that they want for me hold up, wait a minute the tone changes quicker than you can snap your fingers. "You should be a cop." I would have to do more schooling AND be gone during most of my family members key schedule points "Don't worry about it we'll figure it out". But no, I appreciate what cops do but I'm too much of a chicken I don't care how low an areas crime rate is. Also, I wouldn't get paid any more for my degrees (pay isn't a huge issue for me but now I'm getting paid 38% more than entry level for my job). Not just a job in law enforcement they have suggested the medical field as well which again more schooling and being gone.
I can't even tell them that what I want, no matter how improbable, I would love to be a writer. I am in the process of writing my own novel but it's been 3 years and I'm less than 1/3 of what I believe the final word count should be. I have been too busy with school and studying, now that I've graduated I'm mostly uninspired so every now and again it's a struggle to write new sentences and not just read and edit what is already there.
I would love to apply to graduate school for acting or take classes with a voice actor. I'm fascinated by voice acting so I watch a ton of cartoons and follow several VO actors. It's so free, it's about your talent. For the most part it doesn't matter about your gender/sex, it doesn't matter about your age, it doesn't matter about your heritage or skin tone. What you can do with your voice is the main limiting factor. And you can reach several people and help them with your voice in a way that can't be done any other way. Who doesn't have a certain cartoon character that didn't bring joy in their childhood? A character who brought joy during a dark time or simply just took them away from reality for a bit.
But I can't tell them any of that because they are improbable. Yes it's possible to write a book but to get it published? Even if it is would it be remotely popular with how many are published each year? I can't tell them because it's not what they want me to do. I can't tell them because they would be disappointed.
I just needed to vent. I know most won't read this, part of me hopes they don't because it's stupid to be frustrated over something like this when I know others have their own struggles far more challenging than this. I'm embarrassed to be as "old" as I am and to have these problems when most of my friends have moved from home, have full time/multiple jobs, have better degrees, some that are even younger than me have families of their own or have already accomplished so much. I feel like this sounds like I'm fishing for reassurances, for attention, for pity. I am not I just needed to write my thoughts and feelings. To release some of the pressure that has built up since my old stress reliever has been greatly limited and the opportunity to have any prolonged stress relief sessions is few and far between (I'm talking about long car rides where I can listen to music and just be alone nothing too crazy).
Maybe I can at least write some short stories and attempt new a new fandom or two and work my way back into writing. I already have one in the works so hopefully I can post that soon and not something so out of character and so uncheerful.
Me: I'm feelin Too Good feels like some kind of mania building up, I thought I was done with this this morning
Me: guess it's time to blast trauma memory music and take 2 benadryl so I pass out and don't get Too Elevated
