    Jack was bored. And this was becoming an everyday situation. Everything seemed to stay exactly the same. It was awful. He was supposed to be the guardian of fun and he cannot even amuse himself. It was a sick joke. One that he didn’t particularly like. Something needed to change before he started falling back into his old habits.

    Today, whatever day it was, Jack decided he would seek company from a fellow guardian. Toothiana was always nice company when she wasn’t trying to admire his pearly white teeth. He knew she would offer a warm welcome, and she did. He was pleased and dealt with her tug on his jaw line.

   “Okay Tooth, okay!” He laughed, halting her movements, “They’re not going anywhere! Don’t worry.” The frost spirit continues to grin at the fairy before a voice breaks the moment. It’s a voice he is unfamiliar with and Jack is immediately interested in this new person. Tooth smiles widely at the boy approaching, “Jack I would like you to meet Mark Blackthorn! He dropped by to see me when you did! I’m so excited to have company!” Tooth clasps her hands together excitedly.
