I've started being more outspoken on Instagram about transage stuff. But, it's kinda scary and difficult for me as a person who doesn't like confrontation, conflict, or being misunderstood.
The mass majority of posts are from bigots who have never met or talked to a transage person and are spreading their assumptions along with misinformation they got exclusively from other bigots.
I've started to comment under some posts, just trying to hopefully raise awareness and help people understand that it has nothing to do with what they think and clear up misunderstandings and misinformation by answering questions.
I'm still kinda anxious that people will come at me unwilling to listen, but this is kinda something I have to do regardless because if I don't, we will forever be misunderstood and treated as predators just for existing and expressing ourselves.
