I’m watching a white guy debate in the favor of privatizing the school system. He has now suggested the idea that non-privatized public education encourages poor people to have more children, that no one should have children unless they can spend $8,000 per year on the child’s education, that men in order to have children that can be educated should marry younger women, that education was privatized pre-1960s, that current minimum wage is enough to save $16,000 a year on (which is just mathematically wrong), limiting the number of children a couple can have, apprenticeships to pay for elementary school education, the 1950s school system worked much better than today (b/c privatization?? I’m not sure), people should start specialized education starting in 3rd grade for their future careers, and eugenics.
Fortunately this math professor is shutting him down at every turn.
