I would laugh about a celebrity family spending a year making queer their whole theme from outfits to parties to talks to pins to nicknames and pulling another family into it to make it their whole shtick and gather as much attention as possible from it, to absolutely shitting themselves and doing a 180 turn, dropping the obvious outfits, obvious pins, cutting a lot of contact, crying hetero, going to church, talking about monogamy, getting a wife tattoo, the husband going on a humiliation tour hysterically crying “wife!” as an answer for any relevant or irrelevant question, acting like a husband caught riding another man’s dick, not to mention doing a podcast to come out as straight questioned by the wife if he always knew like an insulting parody to queer’s pain and he answers he never denied it yet continues talking about how scary to not be (how is this relevant then, you’re inserting yourself where it’s not your place then? Just like taking queer roles then since you said these should only belong to queer people I guess) wife continuously giggles about loving women and gave herself a rainbow party in a rainbow dress yet clearly ensures his narrative is as straight as it goes… I would laugh… if it wasn’t so gross, if I didn’t want to say to hell with you both for treating the queer community as your little theme you want to use when you want attention. People’s identity, pain and experiences and lives aren’t your PR strategy. And generally counting on fans being absolute morons not seeing the clear changes in behaviours and being ok with such shite too… Absolutely disappointing and disgusting behaviour.
