Very instructive film to help you to find your way as a new inmate in your new home from now on: a cell in a county jail in the Sate of Oregon.

I cite a few important remarks of the voice over immediately at the start, to make your new living conditions behind bars clear:

1.All inmates are subject to the rules of the jail.

2.It's your responsibility to know the rules and regulations.

3.Failure to comply with this rules may lead to further criminal prosecution and/or disciplinary action.

4.Always listen and follow the directives of staff.

Later, about wearing a prison uniform all the times:

5.You will issued one set of clothing and an identification cart. Do not destroy or temper with them. Doing so will result in criminal or disciplinary action against you for any damages.

6.After receiving your card you will assigned a bed in a housing unit. Under no circumstances will you trade or move bed assignments unless told you by a deputee.

7. You're required to be fully clothed in uniform - shirt, pants, underwear and shoes when in the common dayroom area and when you leave your housing unit.

(And to that one may add: so also when you're going to court!)

8.You will receive one set of clean clothing two times a week.

9. For those using medication a nurse will come along your cell twice a day and give you the stuff through the cell-window while you stay inside your cell. You're responsible for being fully dressed.

The clip ends with saying:

"Thanks for you cooperation and good behaviour during your stay"

Well, if that's not the case, don't panic: also these prison authorities for sure will know how to handle that. There are a lot of disciplinary measures waiting and a lot of safety measures that can be taken to discipline you during your stay if needed....
