Hello everyone! This is going to be a list of headcanons/ideas revolving around Anxiety as a teeny tiny b. My amazing friend @notallpotatoesarefrenchfries and I have discussed this, and she encouraged me to make this! So this is dedicated to her! Feel more than welcome to add on and give your opinions!
Pairing: Prinxiety-centric!
In this idea, Anxiety is about 4 inches all, just over 10 centimeters. So, GI Joe height, if you are familiar with it.
No one is sure of why it happened, but one day they all wake up and Anxiety is tiny, tinier than he was. Logan takes to trying to figure out why it happened so they can fix it, Patton takes to making different accommodations for Anxiety, and Roman becomes Anxiety’s mode of travel.
Even when Anxiety was normal, he would often ask the others to carry him around when he didn’t feel like putting effort into walking. Now, when he is tiny, he does it more regularly - because he is so tiny, just walking from his room to the living room is not only dangerous (the stairs) but tiring. So, he likes to hitch a ride on Roman, either settled on his shoulder or cradled in the male’s hands.
Sometimes he sits on top of Roman’s head so he can pull on his hair like Remy does to Linguini in Ratatouille.
Roman has zero problems with carrying Anxiety around. He likes having a sense of responsibility for the small guy, since he ensures Anxiety’s safety when Anxiety needs to get around.
Patton, knowing that Anxiety is teeny, decides to make accommodations for the wee lad. He and Logan work together to make a bedroom for him that is actually in the corner of the living room, fitted with soundproof walls (courtesy of Logan’s smart ideas). That way, when Anxiety needs time to himself, he isn’t forced to listen to the others run around and he can listen to music loudly without bothering the others. Because they live in a mindspace, they could have easily just thought up these things, but Patton wanted to be sweet and make things for Anxiety. Logan had tiny electronics made from thought, though.
The tiny bedroom looks a lot like Anxiety’s normal room - gray walls, a dresser full of black clothes, a bed, etc. On the wall, there is a curtain hanging up. If you pull it back, it shows a hand-drawn and colored drawing of a sunny field, made my Patton. On bad days, Anxiety draws back the curtains to look at the sun with a smile on it and it helps him to feel better.
Even when Patton does make the room for him, Anxiety still likes to have Roman carry him from the sofa to his room, etc. He just likes to snuggle up to Roman.
It takes time for Roman to agree with them sleeping together at night. Anxiety always insists that he will be fine, but Roman worries about rolling over onto him. But, once they do start resting together, Roman finds that his body instinctively protects Anxiety.
Anxiety is more affectionate. Because he is tiny, he thinks he can peck Roman’s hands, his neck, his shoulder, anywhere, because he thinks Roman will just assume it is him moving or a brush of his hand. Of course, Roman knows Anxiety is being sweet and giving him little pecks.
Roman, in turn, loves cooing at Anxiety and giving him gentle kisses. He misses being able to fully kiss Anxiety, but it is all right when Anxiety’s tiny hands hold onto his fingers, tug on his sleeves, poke his cheeks.
Roman does like to tease Anxiety, though - he gets Anxiety little clothing and even a Barbie dress, but the Barbie dress is taller than Anxiety. Anxiety bites his hand.
Anxiety is on the counter and slips on some butter, falling off of the counter - but Roman, in all of his heroic glory, catches him. He gloats about it, of course, and Anxiety is huffy and puffy over having to rely on Roman so much. At the same time, though, he likes knowing that Roman is there to make sure he is always okay. Because he is as small as he is, a fall of the sofa or the counter could really hurt him. Roman makes sure he is always okay.
I can add more whenever, if it is requested! As said above, I would love to see other people’s ideas. I love talking about ships/headcanons/ideas with people, so feel free to add on or shoot me a message!
