Some pretty incredible news today. I entered 4 prints into the NPPPA (Northeast Pennsylvania Professional Photography Association) print competition. Out of the 5 top scoring prints, 3 of them were mine in the Court of Honor. I got 3 Blue Ribbons. 1 Red Ribbon. AND I got the Best of Show Trophy (Adolph “Papa” Fassbender Trophy) AND I got the Best Portrait Trophy (Cathy & Jim Madison Trophy) I never ever imagined any of this. This was my first time entering. I was hopeful for some good critiques and maybe a good score (I would have been happy with anything over 70). I got a 79, 86, 89, AND .... 92. “Just an Old Time Girl”. This one score 92 (AMAZING), it was the highest score and one of 5 in the Court of Honor. It received the Directors Award as the highest scorer, a Blue Ribbon, and the Best Portrait Trophy (Cathy & Jim Madison Trophy).
