I don't often do 'Fan Art' but I must confess that I've been wanting to dedicate a drawing to this character for some time. I honestly owe the greatest portion of the realization of my becoming an animator to the lesser known early 90's animated Series 'The Legend of Prince Valiant'. Whilst the show suffered from horrendous character animation and was laced with errors the story spoke to me in greater volumes than perhaps any of the high quality animated features that I pay maximum tribute to in most of my content. Unbeknownst at the time I now realize that this show was personal development course for youngsters. It preached the law of attraction and self belief far before the famed 'secret' film. It really connected with me as the story paralleled my own life - a Young boy dreamed of becoming a knight in a kingdom that was said to be a myth and did not exist. and against his parents wishes he chased his dream. The only thing that driven him against all adversity was his firm belief in himself. The opening song began ' A whisper in my ear. A voice so strong and clear. Upon this beach I see a million grains of sand. And I believe we are destined, bound to survive against all odds. It is my hearts desire to create stories of similar effect and inspire young minds to pursue their goals with unshakable self belief.
