Well this was a bit unexpected though hardly unusual all things considered.

After setting his quill down the king looked up from the document he had been working on to glance at Cindy as the girl hovered near his office doorway. Placing a smile upon his face Sinbad gestured towards her to move closer before rolling the document up carefully.

Just like with anyone else there were flaws to Hakuryuu’s personality. Now more than ever Sinbad was sure the other was becoming aware of them even if he was not quite at the stage to change them. However the monarch could not help but presume that through interaction with people as wholly good and pure as Cindy and Alibaba tended to be that that would be changing some time soon for the wounded male.

“It’ll all come back on its own. Don’t worry yourself over it.”

Cindy, if I may be so forward to call you that - is that quite alright with you? I hope so, only because I remember vaguely your nod of approval in being so… informal with one another. 

I wanted to thank you with a letter, since I cannot in person, how much I appreciate the little treats and gifts you send me. Alas, even when I tell you not too, such as the occasion of my birthday - you manage past me and do so anyways; always with good intention.

Temper sensitive and thoughtful before you speak, or before doing the unthinkable - composed and well-kept as one should be. I say, with the utmost respect and honesty, that you will make whomever you shall be wedded too, a very lucky man.
