Exactly what I commented on another blog. At this point the baby would be barely viable at around 24 weeks (or less). definitely not healthy and at risk for so many issues. I worked in NICU with some of those babies. Glad yours were ok!
I’m literally sick to my stomach over this. A close friend had her son at 22 weeks, and he spent five months in NICU. He was so tiny, his entire little body fit in the palm of his father’s hand. Honestly, he was the size of a newborn kitten.
He went into kidney failure three times in the first two weeks, and developed pneumonia twice when they tried to take him off the ventilators.
I’m just . . . . No.
