Are you guys gonna finish the patch? Or do you need some help to finish it? I´m actually playing the game and the translation looks pretty good, but I want to know if is going to be a final patch. And if I can help on something, this work it´s fantastic. Thank you.
I definitely want to continue working on it soon! I'll have to start fresh, but that won't take as long as I already have everything that's already been done, saved. It's just a matter of re-entering information! (I don't want to continue from the old patch, it's messy in some areas...)
I was a bit optimistic at first about the story mode translating, but it's outside of my skill level and my buddies with coding experience have their hands full on other things, so I think we'll have to do without that part.
tl;dr: Expect a revised, cleaner patch in the future, with more blanks filled out in the items, artes, character bios, plot summaries, and such. This first patch was just to get it playable as quickly as possible, I will gladly get back to work to finalize it sometime.
(Also anybody is able to help! I'll try to set something up again like a public worksheet for Tales fans to translate / offer advice for names and stuff. It worked out pretty well in the past.) Thank you for using the patch!
